Concept		 Takai Kohzan invited Hokusai to Obuse and took on the responsibility of looking after him. Because of him Obuse even now holds a shining cultural legacy. Just what position "patrons (danna)" like Kohzan held in the cultural history of Japan is a topic that requires further research but possibly in every region of the country these people with their actions and values took on the role of translating and introducing outside cultures.
